Let's get some shoes | OKC | mode boutique

The Mode extension is now up and running and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We have wanted to designate more space to house all things shoes for a while now. Honestly, if it was up to us, we would have five spaces for only shoes but we had to be realistic.

In our opinion, shoes are the foundation of every great outfit. Not to fall too deep into the stereotype but we think Carrie Bradshaw would agree. The right shoe has it’s own sartorial voice while simultaneously complimenting any outfit. On the other hand, the wrong shoe not only throws off the delicate fashion balance you worked so hard to achieve, but can be a major damper on the event they’re worn to. We all know the incomparable pain of pushing a winter bootie a little too close to summer and suffering from “hot foot” for the entire day.

If you’re as enamored with footwear as we are and have been adding “grant me the perfect shoe store in OKC” to the end of your wishes for a while, don’t worry. Your days of longing are behind you.

Allow us to introduce you to our all-star line up.

The best part of sneaks is everything. There is nothing wrong with them. Nothing at all. We are excited to see them taken out of their traditional athletic setting. Lately, we have loved tennies with dresses and skirts for a twist on the athleisure trend. No matter how you like your sneakers, we know you’re going to fall for these.

Heels have always been our first love and now they have become so much more versatile. If you’ve never been comfortable in stilettos and feel a deep sense of dread at the mention of a kitten heel, don’t worry. Now the heel is veering more toward wedges, block, and stacked heels. Your feet will thank you and you’ll still look fresh.
